From New Jersey
From Garden State Parkway
(North or South)

• Take Exit 145 onto Interstate
  280 East
• Move and stay in one of the
  3 left lanes
• Interstate 280E will come to an
  end at First Street
• Make a right turn at the traffic light onto First Street.
• Proceed about half a mile to West Market Street or 3 Traffic lights
• Make a left turn onto West Market Street at the third traffic light
• West Market Street will be the far left turn at this intersection
• Bethany Baptist Church is located on your left at 275 West Market Street

From the New Jersey Turnpike (North or South)

• Take Exit 15W to Interstate 280 West to Orange/6th Street Exit.
• Take the exit ramp on the right
• At the stop sign make a right onto Orange Street
• At the next light make a right onto First Street
• Proceed about half a mile and turn left onto West Market Street (4 traffic lights)
• West Market Street will be the far left turn at this intersection
• Proceed about 0.1 mile to Bethany Baptist Church located on your left at 275 West Market Street

From Route 78 (East or West)

• Take Exit 56 - Clinton Avenue exit
• Turn left at the end of the ramp onto West Runyon Street.
• Proceed 0.3 miles and make a right turn onto Bergen Street.
• Proceed about 1.5 miles to South Orange Avenue
• Continue another .10 mile to the next traffic light and major intersection
• Turn right onto West Market Street
• Proceed about 0.1 mile to Bethany Baptist Church is located on your left at 275 West Market Street

From New York City
George Washington Bridge or Lincoln Tunnel

• Take the George Washington Bridge / Lincoln Tunnel to the New Jersey Turnpike.

By Train and Bus - New Jersey Transit

Trains leave from all New Jersey destinations and from New York’s City’s Penn Station at 34th Street, and run in and out of Newark’s Penn Station and the Broad Street Station. Newark’s Penn Station is just 1.4 miles from Bethany Baptist Church and School. Several buses will place you just outside or Bethany’s doorstep. The closest is NJ Transit Bus 21. Path

The PATH Yellow Line leaves Manhattan from 33rd Street, 23rd Street, 14th Street, or Christopher Street. Take the train to Journal Square and Switch to the Newark train to Penn Station. The PATH Red Line leaves the World Trade Center and goes directly to Newark's Penn Station. Newark's Penn Station is just 1.4 miles from Bethany Baptist Church
